So tell us a bit about yourself?
My name is Laura Ann and I'm from Bonnybridge in the south of Scotland. I'm a salon owner/manager and I wear a 32G.

Have you had any modelling experience previously?
Never had any experience whatsoever! I really enjoyed the shoot, after the first couple of shots I really enjoyed it, really got into it. I was really very, but everyone here as made me feel really relaxed, they're so friendly.

Why did you enter Star in a Bra?
I did it because it would be something fun, I honestly didn't think I'd get as far as I have. My sister had a breast reduction in 2007, and we all told her you should both enjoy and be proud of what you've got, make the most of it. I entered at around 11pm on the deadline night so you can imagine I was pretty shocked to get so far!

How does it feel now that you've progressed to the final ten of the competition?
I just feel so privileged; everyone has done really well so I'm just happy to be here.

How have your family/friends/partner reacted to you not only entering, but getting down to the final?
They were all laughing to begin with, I think through shock! Then they were telling me to just go for it, just to enjoy myself. My Mum was a bit shocked – I'm the youngest in the family, so I think she was a bit worried as to how the photos were going to come out, but no, everyone has been really lovely.

What was it like when you found out you had made it through, how did you react?
I just started laughing down the phone. I was really wondering what would happen next, where things would go from here but I just could not stop laughing, it was so unexpected. I honestly thought I'd get no where so I couldn't really believe it.

What advice would you give to girls entering next year?
Just enjoy it, be yourself and hope for the best really.

What are your thoughts on companies using 'real girls' to model, do you think it's important?
I think it's good because people have got to realise it is normal, every day women that are looking at the pictures, not everyone is a size 6, at the end of the day you want to see what it would look like on your body type, not something unachievable.

If you were to win the competition, what are you most looking forward to?
The free underwear is a bonus as it would save me so much money! I'll enjoy everything really; getting pampered as well! Being a salon owner doesn't necessarily mean I'm constantly getting treatments! But the whole package would be such a good experience.

What are your favourite underwear brands?
Freya is a fantastic fit on me, and sometimes I buy Panache.

As a curvy girl, what kinds of problems do you have finding brands that flatter your shape, make you feel feminine or sexy?
I've had underwear from Brastop and Bravissimo, and now I know my size it's easier but the choice isn't great normally. But today I've seen lots of underwear that is gorgeous, so it is out there!

Why do you think you should win Star in a Bra?
I think I should win because I'm curvy, I'm a normal girl, and I like nice underwear, and I want every woman out there to know they can look like that really.
