    Name: Anna Broadley
    Bra Size: 32G
    UK Dress size: 10
    Town, County: Chislehurst, Kent

So tell us a bit about yourself?
    I'm Anna, I'm a 23 year old singer/actress from London and I wear a size 30H bra after finding out I wasn't a 32G at the shoot!

Have you had any modelling experience previously?
I haven't really done much before, although I have been given acting roles because of my bust! I did an ad for a men's clothing brand where I was playing a busty, 50's b-movie type siren and the photographers mentioned that I should consider underwear modelling. To hear that from someone in the business was definitely a confidence boost!

Why did you enter Star in a Bra?
My fabulous Auntie Kay told me about it. I jumped at the chance, because I've wanted to get into plus size bra modelling for years now, but have always thought I should lose a bit of weight before I even considered it. Seeing the advert and the deadline pushed me in the right direction. I looked at the past winners and some of them seemed to be about my size, and I thought if I'm not picked what would I lose? This was too good an opportunity to miss.

How does it feel now that you've progressed to the final ten of the competition?
Amazing! I feel so lucky and flattered to have received enough votes to get through to the final. I also feel inspired to pursue this dream whatever the outcome of the competition. I'm already thinking about plus sized agencies if I didn't get any further, and maybe I'll finally get down to the gym in the mean time!

How have your family/friends/partner reacted to you not only entering, but getting down to the final?
I've been overwhelmed with the positive responses I've had. My friends are thrilled and very excited, my boyfriend is very proud and my Mum can't stop telling people about me! I was really pleasantly surprised by everyone, including people who I haven't spoken to for years showing their response. I really feel very honoured to have so much support.

What was it like when you found out you had made it through, how did you react?
When I had the phone call from Hannah I had her to ask to keep repeating herself as I was in so much shock. I had a dream I was in the final previously, so it was literally a dream come true. I was on holiday at the time of the call with some girlfriends, who spent the whole night introducing me as an underwear model to complete strangers!

Were you nervous before the photo shoot? How did you find it?
Yes I was – I could hardly sleep the night before, although that could have been the excitement of it all as well! I thought the shoot went really well though. It was such a fun day, everyone was really lovely. I felt I was having a fat day so hopefully it doesn't show too much in the pictures!

Everyone gets fitted at the shoot to make sure they're wearing the correct size, did you come away from the shoot wearing a different size to what you originally thought you were?
Yes actually! I ended up wearing both 30H and 32H on the shoot, whereas normally I wear a 32G. It doesn't sound like a huge surprise, but it came as a shock to me! I hope I'm not growing as you can definitely have too much of a good thing!

What advice would you give to girls entering next year?
Just do it! A friend of mine who is a former lingerie model said to me 'if you don't do it now, you'll never get round to it', which I think is great advice.

What are your thoughts on companies using ‘real girls' to model, do you think it's important?
Definitely! Not only to have a natural bust, but to be big enough in the first place. It can really annoy me if the model is wearing the smallest size the bra could be when it claims to go up to a J cup; you want to see what it would look like on a real girl, the reality is always different from the pictures.

If you were to win the competition, what are you most looking forward to?
It would be amazing to represent big, beautiful, curvy women by modelling for Curvy Kate. The average boob size is getting bigger, and with brand like Curvy Kate there are finally some pretty options out there for us girls. I would just love to be a part of this positive movement. That and the free bras obviously!

What are your favourite underwear brands?
Now I'm a devoted Curvy Kate fan I absolute adore them, they have spectacular sets. That and Freya, as they give such a good fit for every day.

As a curvy girl, what kinds of problems do you have finding brands that flatter your shape, make you feel feminine or sexy?
I have a terrible habit when I find a bra that fits perfectly as I just buy it in several colours. It's not really a problem to find a good fit, but the problem for me is not many brands bridge the gap between sexy and cute bras, ones you can wear every day. There needs to be a balance between support and appealing designs.

Why do you think you should win Star in a Bra?
Because I think I represent the kind of women that buy Curvy Kate. I'm a 30H, I'm just a normal, curvy girl and I think we need to be represented by the brands we buy.

    Vote for Anna now!
